Hello from Chip of Leather Lore!
The Renaissance Faire season is fast approaching, and there are new items in store for this year! Also I've experienced a greater growth in mail order than I ever expected! Compared to last year, my mail order sales have tripled! That is good news, but it also has caused some complications.

Some of you receiving this newsletter have orders with me currently, and a couple of those orders are approaching eight weeks or more and haven't yet been finished. The unexpected surge in mail order, along with my apprentice literally disappearing, has left me in a lurch. Rest assured, I am working as fast as I can on your orders, and will have them done! If you are in need of your order by a certain date, (i.e. if you needed it for a specific function or event), please let me know and I'll expedite your order as best I can. I do sincerely apologize for any inconvenience my delay may cause you! I'm working almost around the clock at this point, just ask my daughter!

Some of the new items include new mug designs, a new drinking horn, new ladies armor designs, and barbarian headbands. Also coming up are newer Jerkin styles, and maybe even common medieval shoes and boots! Stop in to the website to get a quick look at them!

And you may have noticed the change of the name! Due to some confusion with another web site of similar name, I've now renamed my website from Heavy-Leather.com to LeatherLore.com. I have not removed the old name however, so both will actually still take you to the same website. Leather Lore will be how I'm displayed at fairs and on the website. Leather Lore is "Owned" by Heavy Leather still, so the business mailing address and banking information (such as your credit card statements) will still bear the Heavy Leather name.
