Third Annual St. Patrick's Day Pub Crawl '99!

Most of the pictures here are presented as thumbnail pictures for faster loading, but this page is still too big! Please give it a couple of minutes. To see the larger version of each picture, just click on any of the thumbnails!
As I was on my way to the Blue Coyote for the start of the pub crawl, I saw the house that Tim had talked about on the air this morning. It's a nearly 100 year old house that is being moved to save it from the Sparrow Hospital expansion. They picked St. Patty's Day to begin moving it! Imagine the drunks: "I saw a (hic) I say I saw a house moving down the street! (hic)". Clearly, Keith, the WMMQ Promotions Director, got to the house before I did...
This year is the third annual installment of the
PUB CRAWL!

Notice that the Sports Page and Moriarty's are crossed off of the Pub Crawl Passport. They ended up not participating in the pub crawl this year.

Many of the pictures here (the double ones) are in 3D! The basic idea is to cross your eyes and put the two pictures together as one. For more detailed instructions and help, stop into my 3D album!

On March 17, 1999, I joined up with Grand Marshall Tim O'Barron at the Blue Coyote, picked up my passport, and embarked on this years installment of the St. Patrick's Day Pub Crawl! Deb was vacationing in Philadelphia, and although he was keeping the remote broadcasts going, poor Dave was very ill and should have been home. I salute you Dave!

Photoguy taking the soap box here for a second. It just amazes me that some people will be so stupid. The trolley, owned by the Blue Coyote and donated as a free shuttle service for this night, was stolen. It appears that two stupid assholes took it for a joyride, during which it is reported that the driver's dog Jake, was let loose on the streets, and as many as two parked cars may have been hit. The trolley was later abandoned behind Omar's, where it was recovered by the driver, who continued on with his route. The police, who did not know that the driver had found it, pulled it over in front of Stober's. A little confusion ensued as the driver proved who he was. Also inconvenienced were the entire night of partiers who were depending on the shuttle for transportation to the various clubs. Now, obviously this was just a joy ride to the two assholes, who obviously are very selfish and inconsiderate. As Tim has often said, there's always "that one guy" who ruins it for everyone. This night it was those two guys. Oh, I know you're asking, and Jake the dog was found without incident.

Is this lady eating cereal? I never noticed that when I took the shot, because (although it's too dark in this photo) there was another lady in the back eating something else...

This girl was our musical director, trying to get us all to sing the Wheel goes 'round song and such.

That does it for this years installment of the St. Patrick's Day Pub Crawl. Hope you all had as much fun as I did! If you have any comment, requests, suggestions, or stories of your own to add, or you know the names of some of the people shown here, just drop me a line here!

The Tim and Deb Radio Show

This show has been on several different radio stations during it's 15+ years of existence. On August 3, 2005, Tim and Deb were split apart by forces not of their own. The intention of this web site is not to impugn or support any radio station, but merely to continue to be a window into the radio worlds of Tim Barron and Debra Hart. I will continue to document them separately, until such a day that they may reunite. Will it happen? Stay tuned to find out!
