Also known as Knight's Belts; I make more belts than you can imagine, most are custom orders done on site at a faire! And I don't use a belt roller like my colleagues do; I hand tool all of them!

For mail order ease, I offer these basic styles below (Diamond Simple shown above).

These are my basic fancy belt styles. Each is meticulously hand tooled and finished! These are not imprinted by a roller or machine like everyone else's! (Read about Hand Crafting here) Each belt comes with your choice of ring or buckle, included in the price!

1-1/2" wide (shown in the examples unless noted otherwise)

Plain Ring Belts

Traditional Ring Belt. Not authentic (medieval people had real buckles, actually!) Your choice of Nickel Plated or Brass Ring.

Although not as authentic as once thought, a very popular Renaissance Faire item!

Plain Medieval Belt

Like the ring belt, but more authentic with a real buckle! Hand stitched (instead of riveted) for strength and accuracy. Buckle designs vary, but are similar to photo.

How to tie the knight's knot, and buckle options

Your choice of ring or buckle is included in the price!

Belts are customarily long, being tied in a knot at the buckle. Lengths can vary between 50 to 70 inches. With the knot in place, it should hang to your knee. Of course, the longer your belt, the higher your status. If you have a particular length concern, please specify when ordering

Knot

To tie it: pull the belt through the buckle or ring to your desired tightness. Then fold the strap under the buckle attachment point from the bottom. Then take the strap and put it down through the loop you just made, and pull it tight!

Rings

Traditional Ring Belt. Just slip your belt through and tie into the knot shown! Although not as authentic as once thought, a very popular Renaissance Faire item!

Buckles

Our standard buckle is one of these styles as dictated by availability, and are a great compliment to your belt, not to mention authentic in design!

Choose Nickel, Brass, or Antique Nickel or Brass.

Studies and digs have shown that similar buckles existed throughout the middle ages, putting rest to the myth that only ring belts existed during the period! Available for both 1-1/2" and 1-3/4" belts.

Colors

Don't forget your color options! Here's an example of a purple "Aristocrat" style. The collage below shows various colors including black, dark brown, light brown, and mahogany.

Ordering Concerns

Be sure to choose your color and desired buckle or ring. If choosing a buckle, be sure to include your waist size. Overall lengths will vary between 50 to 70 inches if unspecified. If you have a particular length concern, please specify when ordering. Additional length may increase the price. Rings and buckles are hand stitched (not riveted) in place. If you prefer snaps instead (snaps would allow you to remove the buckle or ring) please add $4 to the price.

To use the buttons, order your item from the left column, and add any accessory options. Options not specified will have the default (shown) applied.

Note on Belt size - I use your actual measurement and make that the center hole. This usually won't match the waist size of your pants. Clothing manufacturers actually practice something called "Vanity Sizing" which is designed to make you feel better about what 'pant size' you wear. However if I make a belt that matches your pant size, it won't fit. It's best to actually measure your waist over the clothing you will wear the belt with. Use a tape measure, make it snug, and give me that number!
